Now for the fun part, we get to use power tools and make metal shavings and stuff. Hoooahhhh!
The first step was to mark out the brackets on the material.
Then I cut it out on the bandsaw. In retrospect, I think I might do some initial machining before cutting the brackets apart if I ever attempt such a thing again. Having the pieces separate made a few operations awkward later on.
