Now I just had to physically install the thing. Autocom includes a 'Basic Bike Fitting Kit' with this package. It's got zip ties, hook-and-loop tape, some fancy rubbery electrical tape, and a couple of plastic brackets in it.
So I cut a piece of the hook-and-loop tape and stuck it to the back of the Autocom unit.
Put it into place, applied a bit of pressure, and voila!
